About the Notes screen
MrDistrict can create multiple Notes attached to a person/entity's record. The Notes themselves are created in MrDistrict's built in Word Processor which creates files in Rich Text Format. Those files open by default in Microsoft© Word© (if it is installed) or Wordpad and can include many types of formatting, such as, pictures, multiple font sizes and colors, tables, and more. Notes can be marked as Current or Archived to facilitate organization/filtering/deletion. Notes can be conveniently started in MrDistrict and then transferred to Microsoft© Word© for final editing. Upon transferring a Note to Word©, MrDistrict tracks where it was first stored as a file and can then open that file (Word Document) from the Notes interface (until the file is moved or deleted) making it very easy to use MrDistrict as an organizational tool for your correspondences.

You can alternatively hold down the CTRL key while clicking the Arrow keys to move through voter records.

Also, a persons Notes can be filtered on Archived, Current, or Current and Archived Notes by left clicking the button to the right of 'Current ?' which changes the Notes filter state.

Left clicking the button to the right of 'Current ?' changes the Notes filter from 'Current and Archived Notes' to 'Current Notes' to 'Archived Notes'.

As you use the Notes interface you will want to set a notes 'Current?' status to archive after an issue is resolved or when what the note pertains to has moved into the past. You will have some records that will have many more Notes than others, archiving helps to manage those records.

Double clicking in this area will attempt to open the file referenced.

The location that the file is created at is stored with the Note record itself as a 'Last Known Location' and remains linked until you either move or change the name of the document.
