Poll list This is the list of available Polls. After a Poll is created it will appear in this list. The highlighted Poll is the Poll that is current and it is the Poll which the Information screen pertains to.   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Steps in Polling The four steps in Polling are: Step 1 Information:     This screen displays general information about a Poll. Step 2 Questions:     This screen displays the questions in this Poll Step 3 Setup:     This screen displays the setup records associated with a Poll. Step 4 Begin Polling:     Clicking this button begins the Polling process based on the current Poll and Setup record   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Last Edit Date The Last Edit Date refers to the date when changes were last made to this Poll's Questions or to anything on this Poll's Information screen.   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Poll is current? 'Poll is current' is a flag that lets you track whether or not the Poll is current. You could use this to archive Poll's as completed or as having gone out of scope (no longer valid for whatever reason).   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Date Riding This is used when the Poll is directly tied to an item on an upcoming ballot. Polls can not only gauge opinions but a well designed Poll can help to sway opinion. This field can be used as a sort of countdown till ballot day. The little green Light beside the Date Riding field is used to clear the Date Riding field.   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Poll Description This field is for an extended description of the Poll. It could be used to help distinguish similar Polls in the Poll list box from each other or to give a short summary of the scope of the Poll.   Top: The Poll Information Screen   Editing buttons Edit:    Unlocks the Poll to allow the editing/addition of data, including Questions Cancel:    Cancels the current operation, returning the record to its previous state Add New:    Allows the user to add a new Poll Delete:    Allows the user to delete a Poll   Top: The Poll Information Screen
